Water fun for kids on the Disney Wish!

​The Disney Wish and Castaway Cay are full of water fun for kids both young and old. Hop on the Aquamouse for an adventure on a raft with Mickey and Minnie.  If lounging is more your style pull up a chair and watch the ocean on beautiful Castaway Cay.

Family Pools
The family pool areas aboard the Disney Wish are very different from other ships.  The Wish includes six pools for families, a quiet pool, the waterslides and an adults only pool.  Of the six family pools, Mickey's and Minnie's pool are the largest pools of the collection of family pools.  They are on deck 11 and surrounded by deck chairs and have a great view of funnel vision where movies play both day and night.  The smaller pools, Daisy's and Pluto's pool mirror each other and are smaller pools and more shallow. The next level up on deck 12 are Donald's and Goofy's pools, again smaller pools and they mirror each other and overlook the main area of deck 12.  If you feel like walking the stairs you will find Chip and Dales Pool in a quiet area away from everyone.  It is located on deck 14 forward and very conveniently on the opposite side from Currents bar.  ​

Waterslides
There are 2 slides onboard the Wish, the side-a-saurus Rex and the Aquamouse.  The slide-a-saurus Rex is an enclosed slide with twists and turns on deck 12.  The aquamouse is an interactive slide with scenes from Mickey and minnie.  It goes over the boat and is a raft that is propelled like a water coaster.

Splashpad
For the little ones there is a splash pad on deck 12 called the Toy Story Splash zone.  It is located by Wheezies freezies.  This is where little ones can spash and cool off without having to get into a pool.  ​

Castaway family beach 
The family beaches on Castaway are like no other. After you go past the snorkel lagoon you will find the family beach.  The water level gently slopes down and there are lifeguards posted for your safety.   Each area has lounge chairs that have a set of two chairs that sit up and two that lay down.  You can take the sit up chairs to the water and sit. Some of the sets of chairs have umbrellas for those that need some shade.  
For the kiddos big and small, Pelican plunge is right in the waters of the family beaches.  Pelican plunge is a great place to slide into the ocean! It has a slide and normally a line but the line moves quickly!   If you go to the end of the family beach near the entrance of the cabanas you have fast access to the bathrooms and Cookie's 2 BBQ for lunch.  ​
