Overview Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter is a moderate resort home to Mickey shaped beignets located on the Sassagoula River near Disney Springs. This resort is the perfect balance between relaxation and fun. Resort Maps Port Orleans: French Quarter is attached to its sister resort, Port Orleans: Riverside French Quarter is more condensed than the Riverside part and only has two small sides. The North Quarter is closer to Riverside and the South Quarter is closer to the Disney Springs boat. Room Types Port Orleans: French Quarter only offers one type of room with two variations - a standard room with two queen beds that sleeps up to four guests or the same size room with one queen sized bed. Guests needing a fifth sleeper option but still want to enjoy French Quarter can book a room at Riverside and are still able to enjoy French Quarter amenities. Check out this room tour - the rooms were refurbished in September 2025. Dining Options Home to iconic Mickey Mouse shaped beignets there are a few options for dining at Port Orleans: French Quarter. There are no sit-down dining options at French Quarter. Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory - this is the quick service dining location at French Quarter. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory serves standard American meals and of course Mickey shaped waffles for breakfast. Scat Cat's Lounge and Club - Scat Cat's Lounge is home to the iconic Mickey shaped beignets. These are a must try! They are also able to accommodate most allergies and even serve delicious gluten free beignets. Scat Cat's Lounge is open select nights (see resort or the My Disney Experience app for hours) with life music and cocktails. Pools There is only one pool at Port Orleans: French Quarter - the Dubloon Lagoon Pool. This feature pool is home to the giant serpent slide, Scales, who swirls around the pool area. There are several alligator statues and water features. The slide comes out of Scales mouth and down his tongue into the pool. There is also an aquatic play area. Port Orleans: French Quarter does not have any quiet or leisure pools - but Port Orleans: Riverside does. Guests are welcome to use those if desired. Location and Transportation Located on the Sassagoula River - Port Orleans: French Quarter is just a short boat ride away from Disney Springs and a walk or boat ride away from Port Orleans: Riverside. All other theme parks are available via bus at the front of the resort. There is only one bus stop. Recommendations
