Taste, Sip, and Celebrate at EPCOT’s Annual Food & Wine Festival

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is an annual event and one of Walt Disney World's most popular traditions. Celebrating global cuisine, beverages, music, and culture, the festival transforms EPCOT into a foodie paradise for nearly three months each year. The festival traditionally runs from late-August through mid-November (actual dates vary each year), providing guests plenty of opportunity to experience the event.

Originally launched in 1995, the festival has grown from a small culinary event into EPCOT's flagship fall celebration. Today, it attracts food lovers from around the world who come to sample unique dishes, specialty beverages, and exclusive entertainment offerings. Admission to the festival is included with regular EPCOT park admission, although food and beverages are purchased separately.
The centerpiece of the festival is the collection of Global Marketplace kiosks, scattered throughout World Showcase and other areas of EPCOT. These marketplaces showcase flavors inspired by countries and regions from around the globe. Each year, Disney chef’s curate menu items unique to the countries they represent.  Fan favorites often include international specialties (examples like: Canadian Beer Cheese Soup and Brazilian Pão de Queijo (cheese bread)), unique desserts, craft beers, wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.  Don’t worry if you visit the festival every year, Disney chef’s surprise guests with new creations every festival season.

​Are you looking for entertainment? The festival also features the Eat to the Beat concert series at the America Gardens Theater. Many well known artists, from many genres of music, are sure to have you dancing in your seats. The concerts are included with EPCOT admission and typically offer reserved dining packages, which provide preferred seating for the shows. Historically, performances are held three times nightly, making it easy for guests to enjoy live music while exploring the festival. 
A fun event for families and younger guests has been Remy's Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt, an interactive activity inspired by Disney and Pixar's Ratatouille. Participants search for Remy hidden throughout World Showcase and receive a prize upon completion. This activity has become a festival feature in recent years. 
One reason the festival remains so popular is the opportunity to sample dozens of small-plate dishes in a single day. Recent editions have featured more than 30 food booths, allowing guests to "eat around the world" without committing to full-sized restaurant meals. 
The Annual EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has become a “must-visit” event for Disney fans. With global flavors, live entertainment, interactive activities, and the atmosphere of EPCOT in the fall, it delivers the culinary adventure guests have come to expect year after year.
