Spring Break at Disney is no joke it’s crowded, it’s fast-paced, and if you’re not careful, it can go from magical to exhausting real quick. But after our recent trip as a family of five, I can honestly say this was one of our favorite Disney trips yet. We traveled with our crew my husband and our three kids and stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. We visited all four parks Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom and even squeezed in a day at Blizzard Beach (which the kids would tell you was a top highlight).
But here’s the thing: we also built in two full rest days. And I know that can feel counterintuitive when you’ve spent the time and money to be there. You think, “We need to go, go, go and do everything!” But I'm telling you the rest days are what saved us. Caribbean Beach Resort ended up being so much more than just a place to sleep. It became part of our vacation. We spent mornings walking to get coffee, enjoying dance parties and not rushing out the door. We enjoyed the pools, watched movies under the stars, and took advantage of the little activities Disney offers that are completely free but so often overlooked. Those slower moments? They’re the ones I’ll remember just as much as the rides. Spring Break crowds are real. Lines are longer, walkways are full, and everything takes a little more patience. But because we weren’t running ourselves into the ground every single day, we handled it so much better. We had the energy to enjoy the parks instead of just surviving them. We weren’t stressed about doing everything we were focused on enjoying what we did do. If there’s one takeaway from this trip, it’s this: your resort matters. It sets the tone for your entire vacation. It’s where you reset, recharge, and make memories outside of the parks. And when you choose the right one for your family, it completely changes your experience. Caribbean Beach was perfect for us but every family is different, and what works for one may not work for another. Planning a Disney trip right now isn’t as simple as it used to be. There are so many details, strategies, and decisions that can either elevate your trip… or make it more stressful than it needs to be. Choosing the right resort, building in rest days, knowing how to navigate busy seasons that’s where having someone guide you makes all the difference. Because this trip? It wasn’t just fun. It felt easy. And that’s not by accident. If you’re thinking about planning a Disney trip for your family, I’d love to help you create something that feels just as magical and a whole lot less overwhelming. |
