Nine Dragons in Epcot

Recently we got to try a classic location at Epcot for the first time - Nine Dragons at the China Pavilion in Epcot and it's not a restaurant you want to miss!

Nine Dragons is the authentic sit down Chinese Restaurant in the China Pavilion in Epcot. Being new to living in the Central Florida area we had been desperately searching for some good, authentic Chinese food and we finally found it in Epcot!

We started the meal with veggie potstickers and veggie spring rolls. These were both absolutely delicious, they also came with the option of having pork in the potstickers or shrimp in the spring rolls. We opted for the veggie ones for a more fair comparison between the two. Both were very delicious and I highly recommend both but the pot stickers were so good we ordered some to take home. 

In our party we tried two alcoholic drinks, the Jade Beauty was a vodka based drink with honeydew melon liqueur, pineapple juice and lemon-lime soda. This drink was super good and not too strong or too sweet. The second drink was a Dragon Blossom draft beer, this one was not as good.

For the main course we tried two different options, the vegetable and tofu stir fry and the spicy honey crispy chicken. The vegetable and tofu stir fry was a little bland and we needed duck sauce to save the taste of the dish. However, the honey crispy chicken was full of flavor and absolutely delicious, it was the perfect mixture of sweet and spicy. The last thing we tried was the strawberry-red bean ice cream and the caramel ginger ice cream. According to our waiter who was from China originally said that the strawberry-red bean ice cream is one of the most popular flavors in China - and after tasting it, it was clear why. Not only were both ice creams delicious they had unique flavors that we had never tried before.

Overall this was a great dining experience in a quiet place in Epcot inside air conditioning with some great food options.
