My Disney memories started very young, from watching The Wonderful World Disney and seeing the Disneyland on television. When I was 6 years old my parents took me to Disneyland, that’s when I fell in love; Pluto sneaking up to me and covered my eyes and flying the Astro Orbiter. My parents continued our Disney experiences by multiple vacations stay in the resorts and camping.
The tradition of Disney trips continued with my family from a cruise to resort vacation packages. We became DVC members and annual passholders. We visit Disney World at least twice a year (sometimes more).
I have so many memories of Disney experiences there are too many to mention them all. After coming back from a Middle Eastern deployment, my family went to Disney World and ate at the Crystal Palace. The staff found out about my deployment return and all the characters came around the table and there was an announcement about me returning. Everyone made me feel so welcomed and thanked me for my service. Also, my daughter’s marriage proposal was at Magic Kingdom. And not much can top seeing my grandchildren’s faces the first they walked down Main Street.
Currently I live in CT with my wife, we have 3 grown children and two grandchildren. I’m retired from the fire department after 26 years and Navy (active/reserves) after 25 years. I have a passion for all things Disney related, organizing and planning.
