As a teenager, Disney had my heart. From the our first stay at the Contemporary with my parents and sisters to many years of traveling from Syracuse New York in an RV to Fort Wilderness with my husband and son, there was something special about a Disney vacation. We always felt warmth and sunshine while experiencing the unsurpassed quality of Disney.
Fast forward many years and many great Disney vacations. We are now retired and living about 1 hour from Disney in Florida. Needless to say, we visit Disney very often. We are now enjoying the parks with our son, daughter in law and 2 beautiful grandsons. We have stayed at all levels of accommodation at DisneyWorld and enjoy each one.
Our first Disney Cruise vacation was aboard the Disney Magic in 1999. We our now Pearl Castaway Club members and have enjoyed the Disney Magic, Dream, Fantasy and Wish. We have stayed in every category stateroom while sailing. We love to explore all the delicious dining options and activities Disney has to offer. Pirate night and Castaway Cay are two of our absolute favorites.
As a RunDisney enthusiast, I have completed over 100 RunDisney events; including challenges, full marathons, half marathons, 10K, 5k’s. I have run in DisneyWorld, Disneyland and on Castaway Cay. We always pair a Disney vacation with the RunDisney event to mark the special occasion. There is nothing like the feeling of crossing the finish line to the chEARing of Mickey and Minnie!!
