Maggie, Travel Professional
My name is Maggie and I was born and raised in southern Georgia and proudly still live here! I am happily married and currently own and operate my own dance studio, Maggie’s Academy of Dance. As a child, we never had cable television, so we always watched movies. My sister and I would spend hours watching Disney movies and then reenacting them with each other! We would swim in the pool like Ariel, pick flowers like Pocahontas and ride our blanket or ‘magic carpet’ like Jasmine and Aladdin! From then on Disney held a special place in my heart.
Throughout the years I have been to the Walt Disney World® Resort several times and each time the magic is always in the air! As an adult I branched out to more events at the Walt Disney World® Resort including Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. My husband actually ‘popped the question’ at Cinderella’s Royal Table in front of all the princesses! It was a dream come true! We even had our honeymoon at Walt Disney World®. We stayed a whole week at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and enjoyed all the perks we got from our ‘Happily Ever After’ buttons! Other than those events, my dancers have also performed at Walt Disney World®. We also put on a Disney themed dance production once a year for our Recital! We’ve done Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas and more! As far as Disney accommodations I’ve stayed at all the All-Star resorts Coronado Springs, Caribbean Beach resort and more! Each one offers something different and unique!
I used to keep count of how many times I have been to Walt Disney World® but I am beginning to lose count! Throughout all the trips, I have been with friends and family all with different interests and Disney always has something for everyone! As many times as I have been to visit The Mouse, I can also honestly say that every time I go I see something new or experience a new attraction! There is never a dull moment. I am always enchanted with the feeling of being ‘home’ and the feeling of magic all around. With the hustle and bustle of life, sometimes it nice to unplug and be a child again and anything Disney can do that for you!
