Hello fellow Disney enthusiasts! My name is Katie and I have been a lover of all things Disney since I was a kid. When I was little, I went back and forth between wanting to be Ariel and Belle. I was fortunate enough to go to Disney World with my family a couple times growing up. I have fond memories of getting to meet the characters and experience so many of the classic attractions. My siblings and I loved Haunted Mansion, Carousel of Progress, Muppets 3D, and The Great Movie Ride (R.I.P).
My husband and I spent our first wedding anniversary in Disney and then in the last couple years we have taken our kids twice. I have a 10-year-old son and a six-year-old daughter. They both have come to love Disney as much as their mom does. Being able to be there with my own kids and seeing the parks again through their eyes was a priceless experience.
One of my favorite parts of a Disney vacation is the planning. I love figuring out where to stay, what kinds of restaurants we want to try and mapping out our days to make sure everyone gets to do what they want. I have learned that planning is important, but so is flexibility. Disney trips can throw some curve balls, but when you know how to adjust to them your trip can still be memorable and magical.
In addition, over the last two years I have learned a great deal about how to use Disney Genie + to get the most out of our time in the parks. I would love to help other families plan out their trips so they can have the most amazing experience possible.
