Kathy F, Travel Professional
I have two passions in life: Disney travel and animals. When I had just moved out on my own in 2002 I happened to watch something on the televsion about Animal Kingdom Lodge at Walt Disney World ® and instantly knew that I had to go stay there. The idea of animals being right outside my hotel room was amazing. I started saving for what I thought would be a once in a lifetime trip and began the process of planning my very first Walt Disney World® trip with my boyfriend, James. As I began the planning process I discovered Disney Cruise Line and decided to add a cruise on to our trip. Our vacation was everything I had hoped for and more. Animal Kingdom Lodge was the most unique and magical place I have ever been to. Our cruise on the beautiful Disney Wonder was fabulous as well and the best part was that we got engaged!
We continued traveling to Disney locations throughout the years and I have thoroughly enjoyed planning every single trip. James and I are still happily married and we now have a young daughter. I am lucky enough to work with animals as a pet sitter and vet tech as well as work for Tink’s Magical Vacations where I can share my passion for Disney travel. I have countless hours of experience traveling and exploring Walt Disney World®, Disneyland®, Aulani: A Resort & Spa, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Disney Cruise Line.
There are so many reasons why I continue to be amazed and travel to Disney locations year after year. I love that everything at Disney tells a story such as the story of how three explorers discovered Castaway Cay and settled the island. The island was developed using this back story and all of its buildings are made to look as if they came from a shipwreck. When I started taking my daughter to the Disney theme parks I soon realized how important interactive line queues can be for young children. At other theme parks waiting in line can be boring but at Walt Disney World® I could hardly get my daughter out of the queue line for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh because she wanted to keep playing at all the fun stations. Attention to detail is another reason I admire Disney so much. For example, Aulani was designed to celebrate Hawaii’s history, traditions and culture. Additionally, I appreciate how Disney provides many different dining options and ensures that people with food restrictions and allergies have something excellent to eat. I have also had opportunities to travel to Disneyland® with service dogs in training and have been able to see how great Disney is with accommodating guests with special needs.
I could go on and on about all the reasons why a Disney vacation is so magical and special, but instead of telling you I would love to show you. I would be delighted to be your personal vacation planner and deliver exceptional customer service. I can offer advice from my first hand experiences and custom tailor a memorable vacation to meet your family’s unique needs.
