I grew up going to Disney World every year. From countless trips with my family, to getting the opportunity to dance on the different stages in Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs, Disney has always held a special place in my heart.
Growing up, Disney was present throughout my childhood and my home. From dishes with subtle Disney touches, the Snow White tree topper on our Disney tree each Christmas, and the many Disney ears in my collection, you could say Disney has had a major influence on my life. I remember when I was young and my teachers would ask everyone what they would be doing over their April or summer break. While everyone always had different answers, going to different places around the world or staying home, my answer was always the same,”I’m going to Walt Disney World.” I loved that this was always my answer as Disney is truly my happy place.
Since going to Walt Disney World as a child with my parents and sister, I have had the opportunity to go on Disney Cruises, stay at many of the different Walt Disney World Resorts and go to the parks, go to Disneyland, and even go to Disneyland Paris! I have a goal to visit every Disney park in the world, and I hope to one day check this off my bucket list. I am very fortunate enough to now live fifteen minutes down the road from Disneyland, something I thought I would never say! When my boyfriend told me his job would be taking us to an area near Anaheim, California my first response was, “That’s fine because we will be close to Disneyland!” I now get to experience the original Disney park as often as I like, something that I am so grateful for.
