Shannon, Travel Professional
Disney has always been a second home for me. Traveling as a child, we would go to the Walt Disney World® Resort for every holiday and stay at one of their deluxe resorts. Disney was a part of my life, even when we weren’t traveling there. My mom would always dress me up like Minnie Mouse when I was younger, and my father and I use to always listen to Disney movie soundtracks or Disney theme park music when he took me to school.
As I got older, I always held a part of Disney close to my heart. When I was fourteen years old, my family decided they wanted to move to Central Florida and have Disney all year round. Being in Central Florida since I was a teenager has really opened my eyes on how grateful I am to have Walt Disney World® only one hour away from me. My family and I go to Walt Disney World about three or four times a month, and every time we go we have a fantastic experience. When I step foot on Disney property I feel a sense of relief and relaxation. As I got older, I learned everything about Walt Disney World® -- the best fast passes to grab, the best Restaurants dine at, and the best Resorts to select from during your vacation. I’ve had the pleasure of staying at all resort styles, from values to moderates to deluxes, including deluxe villa properties.
One of my fondest memories at the Walt Disney World® Resort was getting engaged to my high school sweetheart. We went to dinner at the California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Our table had a direct view of Cinderella's Castle. The views we enjoyed while dining were breath taking. As it got closer to the park closing, I knew the fireworks would go off any minute. Not only did fireworks start appearing in the sky, my prince got down on his knee and proposed by offering me Cinderellas glass slipper. It was an experience I would never forget. Luckily, I married someone that shares the same special bond for all things Disney related.
This past year, we had the pleasure of expanding our Disney destination portfolio by sailing with Mickey and Minnie on a Disney Cruise Line vacation. Our Disney cruise was amazing from start to finish -- from the food to the customer service in the concierge lounge and all things in between -- it was all top notch.
I love helping families create memories of their own at all Disney Destinations, including Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney®, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, the Walt Disney World® Resort and the Disneyland® Resort. It would be my great pleasure to help you plan an amazing vacation full of wonderful once-in-a-lifetime memories.
