My love for Disney started as a child when my grandparents took us on one of many trips in their RV to Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground at the Walt Disney World® Resort. I can still remember the magic and sweet smells as we walked down Main Street USA® and the magnitude of seeing Cinderella's Castle®! My grandmother would always taking me shopping on our last day making sure we were loaded up with Disney treats, clothes, and collectibles!
The memories of my childhood and the continued bond with my grandmother today connected with all things Disney bring me such joy. I knew that I wanted these same experiences for my children as well. My daughter made her first trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort when she was 1 year old, and my son's first trip was made when he was 6 months old!
We go to the Walt Disney World® Resort every year (usually multiple times!) and always look to explore something we haven't yet tried. We enjoy experiencing different resorts, restaurants, and the newest rides and attractions. Some of our family favorite memories have been made at Disney's Fort Wilderness, although we now stay in the cabins, rent a golf cart, and have a blast with all the amenities of the campgrounds. We also enjoy Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, being able to sit on the balcony watching the animals is entertainment for all ages! This resort also has great activities for the kids to experience all day (and even into the night). And when, we are going on a quick trip, staying at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is a kid favorite with the larger than life sport themed décor. We are huge fans of Pandora: A World of Avatar, Toy Story Land, all things inside Magic Kingdom® Park, and the World Showcase at Epcot®.
We have just recently started exploring Disney's water parks (Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon) which was loads of fun! We have also started branching out and sailed with Disney Cruise Line! The four ships in the Mouse Fleet are amazing and Disney's Castaway Cay is just paradise!
