Disney memories, tales old as time -- can anything really compare to the magic of Disney??? Growing up minutes from Disneyland® Park is one of the many components to true California dreamin! Disneyland® memories were a major part of my upbringing. I actually remember the original Disneyland sign and even the paper ticket books!
I live with my family in San Diego (Chula Vista), California under two hours from Disneyland® Park and California Adventure® Park. My people LOVE all things Disney from Disney ears (I have a collection), to Disney movies, Disney music, Disney foods, Disney running events, Disney resort stays, Disney Cruise Line and of course Disney parks! We are annual passholders and enjoy a quick day or three in the parks whenever time permits.
I also enjoy runDisney® events such as running in and around Disneyland® at the Disneyland Half Marathon or a quick trip to Walt Disney World® for Princess weekend.. A leisurely vacation to Walt Disney World® is my new favorite hangout, riding Slinky Dog Dash or the speedy drop of Hollywood Tower of Terror combined with the Rivers of Light show or a savanna view at Animal Kingdom Lodge keep me forever wanting to return!
Living in California, we are lucky enough to be a home port to the lovely Disney Wonder. Eight years ago, our family, encouraged by the community of Disney fans sailed on a magical seven night cruise on the Wonder to the Mexican Rivera… I was HOOKED! We are now well on our way to platinum Castaway Club membership. We have enjoyed Caribbean sailings, holiday sailings and look forward to Alaska soon as well.
