My first trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort was when I was two years old. At four years old, I visited again, on Christmas Day. I grew up looking at these magical photos trying to remember these young years and adventures. My next big trip was when I graduated from high school. My best friend and I went to the park every day and had an amazing trip. This was the trip that hooked me! A couple of years later, I experienced my first Disney Cruise Line vacation. Cruises have never been the same since. Shortly after, my brother went to a music camp in California and for the first time, I experienced the Disneyland® Resort. Throughout the years and the various trips, I began to understand and recognize the best flow of the day, how to understand and minimize wait times, and how to best use fast passes to maximize time at the park.
When my first child, Ezra, was born, the tradition began. We took him to the Walt Disney World® Resort for his first birthday. We were very excited to add our princess, Eliot, to our family two years later. It didn’t take long for our growing family to be hooked. We now spend the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday down at Mouse Land in Florida, in addition to other trips throughout the year. Our favorite memories include both of our children receiving their first haircut at the Harmony Barbershop on Main Street U.S.A.
I was born in North Georgia and earned a Bachelors of Early Childhood Education from Dalton State College. I began teaching in in 2007. Prior to earning my Masters degree in School Library/Media from West Georgia University in Carrollton, Georgia, I taught first, second, third, and fourth grades. Today, I am the Media Specialist at a Pre-k -5 Elementary School. In addition to my leadership role in the library, I am also responsible for our school website and social media. Additionally, I am the PTO President.
As a vacation planner, I have an abundance of knowledge to assist in planning your Disney Destination vacation. Disney experiences can truly make dreams come true for your family. I look forward to sharing your experiences.
